Summers on the other hand can get hot and crowded, so be ready for that. Plus prices of accommodations and transport will be at a yearly high. When I visited Rome in the summer, it was scorching! Temperatures as high as 40°C (104°F) make for a sweaty day of traveling! 

And lastly, we have Winters which are mild and less touristy, which means good deals and a chance to explore indoor attractions. 

At the end of the day, there’s not necessarily a bad time to visit Rome, so if your schedule is pretty inflexible don’t stress too much! If you can pick the time of year that suits your travel style and itinerary and enjoy your Roman adventure!
