Scotland is a pleasant blend of magnificent nature and historical castles. Anytime someone speaks about their trip to Scotland, including myself, a smile naturally comes across their face. Scotland’s charm has a way of coming home with you and it makes the best souvenir.
Edinburgh and Glasgow, the two largest cities, don’t feel like large cities when you’re in them. The hustle is warm like you’re walking with friends, not strangers. Enter in a pub alone, and you’re pretty much guaranteed to make a new friend.
The rolling hills and mountains clashing with the numerous lochs (lakes) around the country make picture-perfect views almost everywhere. Along the coast are sharp cliffs – some with waterfalls. Scotland never ceases to enter our hearts with no intention of leaving.
