Best Things to do in Medellin, Colombia

Medellin was one of my FAVORITE cities during our trip to Colombia. I was enchanted and fell in love as soon as we left the airport. Lina, our guide, was passionate about showing us her city (which only helped me fall in love faster!). There are so many things to do in Medellin, it’s hard not to be impressed.

Nestled in the lush Aburrá Valley, this city is a captivating blend of modernity and rich cultural heritage. As you embark on your Medellin adventure, prepare to be enchanted by a plethora of experiences that showcase the city’s unique charm. There are multiple ways to reach Parque Arví from Medellín, including taking the metrocable to Santo Domingo station and transferring to a bus that takes you directly to the park. Alternatively, visitors can take a direct bus from Medellín to the park’s entrance. The park is typically open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with entry fees being quite affordable for both locals and tourists.

We weren’t able to catch a game live, but we were there for the qualifying match for the 2024 World Cup. We went to a restaurant and had drinks and an appetizer while watching the game. The whole street had televisions
