A small-group tour at the hands of an experienced local tour company, Africa Adventure Vacations. I used them for our tour of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic and am SO excited to use them again.

Not only will you have an experienced tour company, but my expertise as well. I will help you get visas, vaccines, and (of course) pictures throughout the trip.

Our Itinerary

  • Arrival in Entebbe, depending on the time of arrival, visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens and Lake Victoria.
  • Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and engage in a rhino-tracking experience
  • Visit Murchison Falls National Park to see the falls but also a wide variety of wildlife, including chimpanzees, hippos, giraffes, baboons, and more!
  • Morning and evening game drives in Murchison Falls
  • Boat Cruise on the River Nile
  • Visit Kibale Forest National Park, known as Africa’s primate capital
  • A community walk at Bigodi Sanctuary Swamp and visit a small village to interact with the locals. Take part in local experiences like learning how coffee is grown, visiting a women’s group, and trying local delicacies.
  • A chimpanzee trek in Kibale National Park
  • Visit Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot tree-climbing lions and leopards
  • Learn about salt mining at Lake Katwe salt mining community
  • Morning and evening game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • A boat safari on the Kazinga Channel to see elephants and hippos in the water
  • A visit and boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi
  • Evening and night game drives in Lake Mburo National Park
  • 2 Hour Horseback riding safari in the jungle
  • A visit to the Equator crossing point.

The trip includes:

  • Return airport transfers (pick up & drop off)
  • Private transport and safari guide for 10 days
  • Mid-range accommodation for 9 nights on full board (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • My photography during the trip – don’t worry about renting a nice camera, or getting photos of YOU while you’re on vacation, I take care of all that! You’ll have access to my files after the trip.
  • Rooms are on a 2-person per room price, there will be a single supplement fee.
