Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned Vegas veteran, the Strip casinos provide countless fun and entertainment options. From laid-back vibes to high-end luxury, here’s what you need to know about the best casinos on the Strip—each offering a unique experience to make your Vegas trip memorable.
#1 The Cosmopolitan
The Cosmopolitan is perfectly located and stands out as one of the most trendy, unique, and lively casinos on the Strip. Its atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated elegance and vibrant energy. It is a trendy hotspot and the perfect place to gamble, eat, drink, party, and stay. Plus, where else can you get a haircut at a barbershop and then slip into a hidden speakeasy?
Tucked away behind secret doors or unassuming façades throughout Las Vegas are a number of hidden and intimate escapes to experience a unique cocktail experience. The Cosmopolitan has three speakeasies: The Barbershop, Ghost Donkey, and Ski Lodge. They are all fun but the Ski Lodge is my favorite, whisking you away into a Sun Valley mountain town-type experience.
When it comes to gambling, The Cosmopolitan has it all—table games, slots, and a sleek high-limit area, all wrapping around the iconic pink three-story chandelier. The lively sportsbook adds even more excitement for sports fans.
If you’re hungry, their food court, Block 16 Urban Food Hall, is one of the best on the Strip. Instead of typical fast food, you’ll find elevated quick bites. I highly recommend Hattie B’s Hot Chicken—it’s always a win. The Cosmopolitan is easily one of the best all-around casinos on the Strip. Like Treasure Island, it’s a place I never skip—and you shouldn’t either!
#2 Treasure Island
Every time I hit the Strip, Treasure Island—or TI, as everyone calls it—is a must-visit for me. TI is laid back and casual. It’s low-brow in the best way possible. While it may not be as flashy as some neighbors, it offers solid gaming options, affordable dining, and a central location on the Strip. And I’ve concluded this pirate-themed casino is one of the best to gamble at.
The casino spans an impressive 95,000 square feet and caters to every type of gambler. High-limit gaming areas are available for those seeking a more exclusive environment, while the Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar is a haven for sports fans. I’ve always had luck at their Green Machine slot and digital and table roulette. The limits are lower than other casinos like Bellagio or Cosmopolitan, which is attractive.
It’s a great place to go if you want to have a few drinks and line dance – ladies, don’t worry if you don’t know how men are willing to provide lessons. It’s also home to Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, one of the longest-running Cirque shows in Vegas. They also use advanced ozone technology to help keep the air fresh and minimize the lingering smell of cigarette smoke.
#3 Casino Royale
Across the street, nestled between Harrah’s and The Venetian, is Casino Royale. This is a true hidden gem on the Strip. It’s a smaller, more old-school spot, and that’s part of its charm. Known for being super budget-friendly, it offers low limits and some of the best drink deals around—seriously, 12 oz. beers are just $3!
An additional perk here is their promos, like the “lose $20, get $20” deal, which you can claim again after a certain amount of time. That said, Casino Royale isn’t for table game enthusiasts—they’ve swapped their tables for slots. Still, it’s worth popping in to grab a cheap drink, soak up the retro Vegas vibes, and maybe score some big wins on their machines.
#4 ARIA
Located in the CityCenter complex, ARIA stands out on the Strip because of its sleek, futuristic design and refined atmosphere. It exudes polished, contemporary luxury and offers a top-tier experience for those seeking sophistication.
The casino at ARIA is top-notch, with a huge floor full of table games, slots, and video poker machines at all kinds of limits. High rollers will feel right at home in the elegant high-limit lounge or the exclusive poker room, which hosts big tournaments and caters to serious players.
Pro Tip: Play enough in the high-limit slots ($10/spin or more), and they will serve you Veuve Clicquot—on the house.
ARIA doesn’t disappoint when it comes to dining. Its high-end restaurant lineup includes Catch, a hotspot for foodies and Instagram enthusiasts. The chic entrance features a stunning floral tunnel perfect for photos, while the Asian-inspired menu features standout dishes like truffle sashimi and creative sushi rolls. This is one of my favorite restaurants on the Strip!
When you’re at ARIA, be sure to explore the rest of the CityCenter complex—a large, upscale development offering a variety of other shopping, dining, and entertainment options. It’s the perfect place to continue your experience beyond the casino and enjoy everything this luxurious development offers.
#5 Bellagio
The Bellagio is one of the most iconic spots on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s famous for its fountain show and hosting “O”—which is hands down one of the best shows in Vegas.
The casino is spacious, with plenty of table games, slots, and a poker room that hosts big tournaments. If you’re looking for a quieter, more exclusive vibe, their high-limit room is perfect for that. I have had a lot of luck playing on their roulette tables.
The Bellagio’s spacious layout is perfect for handling the crowds at this popular hotel, making it easy to explore. You don’t want to miss the stunning Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, located just behind the lobby. It’s free to visit, and each season, the space is transformed into a new themed display, with thousands of flowers, plants, and trees arranged in a way that captures the essence of the season. The designs are always beautifully crafted, and it’s a peaceful escape amidst the Vegas hustle.
Pro Tip: You’ve got to try The Bellagio Martini, served at the Petrossian Lounge—an old-school piano bar right in the heart of the casino. It’s my favorite spot for people-watching. The martini comes served on a massive block of ice with a caviar cigar—it’s worth the splurge!
If you’re still hungry, The Bellagio offers a variety of dining options, from casual to fine dining. Le Cirque and Picasso provide luxurious, Michelin-starred experiences with French and Mediterranean cuisine. For a more relaxed meal, The Buffet at Bellagio offers international dishes, while Jasmine serves traditional Cantonese cuisine with stunning fountain views. For something unique, E by José Andrés offers avant-garde dining, and the Bellagio Patisserie is perfect for a sweet treat.
#6 The Wynn & Encore
The Wynn and Encore are two luxurious resorts on the same property. Since they’re so easy to visit together, I wanted to include both. These resorts are known for offering an upscale experience with exceptional amenities, similar to those of a boutique hotel, but on a grander scale.
The Wynn is bright and open, avoiding some other casinos’ dark, maze-like feel. The casino itself is spacious and easy to navigate, offering a variety of table games, slots, and a poker room. It’s also home to one of the best sportsbooks in town. The bars and restaurants here are top-notch, with Delilah standing out as a Strip gem. It blends a 1920s and 1930s-inspired design with a menu of elevated American classics—it’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
The Wynn also features a fountain show worth checking out. It’s smaller and more intimate than the Bellagio’s, so the atmosphere feels more personalized and exclusive-which is why I like it more.
Pro Tip: Grab a cocktail at Parasol Down, a lounge with a perfect view of the fountain show. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy the show.
Encore, the Wynn’s sister resort, delivers the same level of luxury with a slightly more intimate and relaxed vibe. The casino at Encore is more compact but still offers a solid variety of gaming options. It’s also home to XS Nightclub, one of Vegas’s most exclusive nightlife destinations, known for its chic atmosphere and high-energy events.
#7 The Cromwell
The Cromwell is a chic boutique hotel and casino known for being the filming location of the U.S. version of Love Island in 2020. The rooftop pool and modern vibe of The Cromwell added to the show’s glamorous setting, making it a standout spot.
The Cromwell offers a stylish, intimate, and adult-friendly atmosphere. Its compact casino floor is perfect for a more relaxed gambling experience, with a solid mix of table games, slots, and video poker.
While you may not catch a live film, you can still enjoy the rooftop nightclub Drai’s. It offers a beach club-type atmosphere, with stunning views of the Strip and some of the best DJ performances in town.
For dining, Giada by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis is a must-try. It serves delicious Italian-American cuisine and offers amazing views of the Strip. The sleek and modern atmosphere is ideal for both casual meals and special occasions.
If you’re looking for a boutique experience with a blend of great food, gambling, and nightlife, The Cromwell is the perfect spot. Plus, you don’t need a front-facing hotel room to enjoy some of the best views of the Strip!
#8 Caesars Palace
Across from The Cromwell is Caesar’s Palace, another notable filming location. One of the most recognizable casinos on the Strip, Caesars is famous for its Roman-inspired architecture and grand design and for being a key location for The Hangover. The palace has recently undergone a refresh, with upgraded decor and new restaurants and lounges that give it a modern, stylish feel.
The casino is massive and features one of the largest sportsbooks in Las Vegas, making it an excellent spot for sports fans. Its layout is easy to navigate, so you can quickly find a spot to watch a game, grab a drink, and try your luck at the tables. One thing I love about Caesars is its many small, spread-out bars. They make it easy to drink without waiting in the crowded main lounges.
Beyond the casino, Caesars Palace takes dining and drinks to the next level with spots like the Spago and the super-chic Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. Vanderpump has such a cool, unique vibe—it’s definitely worth a visit. And if you’re in the mood for more dining options, the hotel is connected to The Forum Shops. Not only are there great restaurants here, but they’re also a little easier to snag reservations for since they’re not technically part of the casino. Sushi Roku is a standout—don’t miss it!
If you’re looking for some evening entertainment, check out Absinthe—a Cirque du Soleil show in a small circus tent right out front. It’s totally worth seeing, and honestly, there’s not a bad seat in the house!

MGM Grand is another iconic resort and casino on the Strip. Its emerald-green exterior and the famous lion statue at the entrance make it instantly recognizable. Known for its massive size and wide range of entertainment options, MGM Grand has something for everyone.
The casino spans over 170,000 square feet, making it one of the largest in the city. It offers a variety of table games, including blackjack, craps, roulette, and baccarat, along with thousands of slot machines. If you’re a poker fan, you’ll love the dedicated poker room, which hosts cash games and daily tournaments in an energetic atmosphere.
Beyond gaming, MGM Grand is a hub for entertainment. It’s home to KÀ by Cirque du Soleil and the Hollywood Theatre, which showcases comedians, magicians, and concerts. When it comes to dining, MGM Grand has options for every craving. Fine dining includes Joël Robuchon, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant serving exquisite French cuisine. For more casual options, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill offers comfort food with a gourmet twist, while spots like Avenue Café and the Food Court provide quick and satisfying bites.
If you’re sensitive to smoke, you’ll appreciate the resort’s advanced air filtration systems, which help reduce smoke in the casino. Smoking is still allowed in designated areas, but the overall environment feels much fresher than many other casinos.
Pro Tip: MGM Grand is the perfect place to grab a drink and a bite before heading to a Golden Knights game.

One of Mandalay Bay’s standout features is its beach. Yes, you read that right—a beach in the desert. The 11-acre pool complex includes a wave pool, lazy river, and real sand, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a beach club in the Cayman Islands. You can also visit the Shark Reef Aquarium, a 1.6-million-gallon exhibit housing over 2,000 animals, including sharks, rays, turtles, and fish.
One of my personal favorites, though, is the 1923 Prohibition Bar. Hidden in the Shoppes at Mandalay Place, it’s a speakeasy with a bookcase entrance leading to an intimate, sophisticated setting. Whether you’re in the mood for a cocktail or something more unique, the bartenders will impress you with their skills and knowledge.
Whether you’re a foodie, beach lover, or speakeasy seeker, Mandalay Bay is worth the trip to the southern end of the Strip!
