A small-group tour at the hands of an experienced local tour company, Africa Adventure Vacations. Portions of each safari go to paying school fees for an orphan in Uganda. I’ve traveled with AAV and love working with them.

The 2027 Itinerary includes:

  • Arrival in Entebbe, visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens and Lake Victoria.
  • Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and engage in a rhino-tracking experience
  • Visit Murchison Falls National Park to see the falls and a wide variety of wildlife, including chimpanzees, hippos, giraffes, baboons, and more!
  • Morning and evening game drives in Murchison Falls
  • Boat Cruise on the River Nile
  • Visit Kibale Forest National Park, known as Africa’s primate capital
  • A community walk at Bigodi Sanctuary Swamp and visit a small village to interact with the locals. Take part in local experiences like learning how coffee is grown, visiting a women’s group, and trying local delicacies.
  • A chimpanzee trek in Kibale National Park
  • Kasenda crater lakes walk
  • Visit Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot tree-climbing lions and leopards
  • Morning and evening game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • A boat safari on the Kazinga Channel to see elephants and hippos in the water
  • Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
  • A visit and boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi
  • Evening and night game drives in Lake Mburo National Park

The trip includes:

  • All of the above activities, plus:
  • Return airport transfers (pick up & drop off)
  • Private transport and safari guide for 13 days
  • Mid-range accommodation for 12 nights on full board (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
  • Bottled Drinking water throughout the trip
  • My assistance before the trip with visas, flight research, and more
  • My photography during the trip – don’t worry about renting a nice camera, or getting photos of YOU while you’re on vacation, I take care of all that! You’ll have access to my files after the trip.
  • Rooms are priced at 2 people per room; a single supplement fee applies.

The trip will not include:

  • Domestic and International flights
  • Country entry visa
  • Personal travel insurance

  • Items of a personal nature /laundry/telephone charges
